Agile coaching grounded in engineering reality.
Most agile coaching stops at ceremonies. Mine starts with how engineering teams actually build, test, and ship — because process only matters if it moves working software.

Engineering agility goes deeper than ceremonies.
Stand-ups and sprint boards are the visible surface of agility. The real work is underneath: how teams handle quality, how they respond to incidents, how fast feedback actually reaches the people who can act on it.
I coach teams and their leaders on the engineering practices that make agility real — test strategy, continuous delivery, DORA metrics, and a quality culture where developers own testing rather than throwing it over a wall.
What coaching covers
Team Facilitation
ICP-ATF-grounded facilitation — running the conversations that unblock teams, not just the ceremonies on the calendar.
Quality Culture
Shift-left testing, developer-owned quality, and the metrics that make reliability a shared responsibility.
Delivery Flow
Mapping value streams, finding the real bottlenecks, and wiring DORA metrics into how the team improves.
Leadership Enablement
Coaching engineering managers and leads to sustain change after the engagement ends.
Engagement models
Team Coaching
- Assessment of current delivery & quality practices
- Hands-on coaching with the team in-flow
- Facilitation of key ceremonies and retros
- Measurable improvement targets
Organisational Coaching
- Coaching across multiple teams & leaders
- QE maturity assessment & roadmap
- Leadership enablement for sustainability
- Quarterly progress against DORA metrics
Common questions
How is this different from a scrum master?
I coach the engineering practices underneath agility — testing, delivery, reliability — not just the framework. Certified in agile coaching (ICP-ACC) and team facilitation (ICP-ATF), but grounded in 22+ years of hands-on engineering.
Remote or on-site?
Both. Most coaching runs remotely, with on-site intensives where it adds value.
How do you measure success?
We agree on outcomes up front — usually a mix of DORA metrics, quality signals, and team health — and review against them each quarter.
Do you also mentor individuals?
Yes — see 1:1 mentorship for engineers and tech leads.
